LRT, the Lithuanian national broadcaster, has unveiled the EUROVIZIJA.LT  2025 competing acts.

A total of 45 acts will be competing in the Lithuanian 2025 national selection. EUROVIZIJA.LT 2025 will consist of a total of 6 televised shows (5 semi-finals and a Grand Final).  A total of 9 acts will compete in each of the five semi-finals, the top two acts from each semi-final after a combibed jury/public televoting deliberation will proceed to the Grand Final.

Hence a total of 10 acts will be battling for the golden ticket to Basel at the Grand Final.

At the Grand Final the jury and public will vote for their favourites acts, the top 3 acts will proceed to the Super Final. At the Super Final round all three acts will perform their songs again and the final verdict will lie in the hands of the Lithuanian audience.

EUROVIZIJA.LT will kick off on Saturday 11 January and will conclude with its Grand Final on Saturday 15 February which is set to be held at the Zalgiris Arena in Kaunas.

Audrius Girzadas ( LRT  Television Program Department Chief Producer/ Head of Delegation for Lithuania) says:

In order to give artists more time to create, this year we announced the call for applications earlier than usual, in August. We are pleased that this decision was received favorably. We received a total of 81 applications – the number of songs that grows every year only proves that Eurovision remains an interesting and relevant event for artists.”

Selecting the songs that will be performed in the national Eurovision semi-finals was not an easy task. However, today we can already announce the songs carefully selected by a specially formed working group that will compete for the opportunity to represent Lithuania at Eurovision and perform in Switzerland in May.
