Måns Zelmerlöw, the 2015 Swedish Eurovision winner is all set to partake at Melodifestivalen 2025 and is vying to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time and maybe do a Loreen and win the competition for a second time and bring Sweden its 8th Eurovision victory, but the game is yet to be played……

Mans Zelmerlow is back in the game! He will be competing at the forthcoming edition of Melodifestivalen 2025’s fourth Semi-final on 22 February at the Malmo Arena in Malmo with his entry ‘ Revolution‘.

Man’s competing song ‘Revolution’ has been composed by David Lindgren Zacharias, Måns Zelmerlöw, Ola Svensson and Sebastian Atas.

Can Mans do a Loreen and give Sweden record 8th Eurovision victory?  The game is yet to played out… Mans has to first qualify from the 4th Melfest to the Grand Final and win the Swedish national final.  Once he is granted the golden ticket to Basel he will have to qualify from the semi-final and then win the Grand Final. When it comes to Eurovsion the Swedes have great experience in bringing great performers and fabulous stagings, and achieve great results in the competition.

Notably has won the contest 7 times ( 1974, 1991, 1984, 1999, 2012, 2015, 2023)  and successfully hosted the competition 7 twice times too ( Stockholm 1975, 2000, 2016/ Malmo 1992, 2013, 2024/ Gothenburg 1985).

About Mans Zelmerlow

Måns Zelmerlöw’s career spans almost two decades. He got his breakthrough in “Idol” in 2005 and participated in Melodifestivalen in 2007 with “Cara Mia”. His biggest success came in 2015 when he won both the Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest with “Heroes”. In addition to music, Måns has been the presenter of “Allsång på Skansen” and a jury member in “Masked Singer”. Now he returns for the fourth time to Melodifestivalen, ten years after his success with “Heroes”.

Måns Zelmerlöw – The Eurovision Story

Mans Zelmerlow represented Sweden at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna and won the competition, the following year he co-hosted the contest with Petra Mede. Since then he has been involved in our favourite television show every year in one way or the other:

• In 2017 we saw him in the interval segment and he was the Swedish commentator at ESC 2017 in Kyiv. 
• In 2018 Mans co hosted the British national final for the Eurovision Song Contest
• Then in 2019 he partook in the special medley at the ESC 2019 Grand Final in Tel Aviv during the interval.  Mans will be commentating the competition for Sweden for the second time.
• In 2020 the Swedish Eurovision champion was part of the jury at the Australian national final- Eurovision: Australia Decides
• In 2021 Mans was part of the special interval segment involving six former Eurovision winners at ESC 2021 in Rotterdam
• In 2023 Mans was one of the co hosts of the BBC’s podcast Eurovisioncast.
• In 2023 Mans Zelmerlow was seen during the 2023 Eurovision First Semi-final along with Portugal’s iconic television hostess Filomena Cautela in a special VT where they both tested their Eurovision knowledge head to head.
