RTL Luxembourg, the Luxembourgish national broadcaster, has unveiled the seven competing act at the forthcoming 2025 Luxembourg Song Contest ( the Luxembourgish national final).
The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is full steam with its preparations for Eurovision 2025, RTL Luxembourg is working round the clock in its quest to hold an extraordinary national final come January.
The 7 lucky competing acts of the 2024 Luxembourgish national final have been unveiled:
- Laura Thorn
- One Last Time
- Luzac
- Rythmic Soulwave
- Rafa Ela
- Zero Point Five
- MANA
The 2024 Luxembourgish national final is set to be held on 25 January. The show will be broadcast live on RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg and will be streamed live on rtl.lu, whilst French speakers will be able to follow the event on RTL infos and English speakers on RTL Today.
The LSC 2025 International Jury was responsible to determine the finalists for the 2025 Luxembourgish national final during the auditions. A total of 53 artists partook in the said auditions
The International Jury consisted of the following Eurovision professionals:
- Niamh Kavanagh (Ireland 1993 Euroision winner/ Ireland 2010)
- Eldar (Azerbaijan 2011/Eurovision winner)
- Marie Myriam ( France 1977/Eurovision winner)
- Poli Genova (Bulgaria 2011/2016)
The Luxembourg Song Contest 2025 will be held at the Rockhal in Esch-Belval on Saturday 25 January 2025.
Luxembourg at Eurovision
Luxembourg is one of the founder members of the Eurovision Song Contest and has won the competition five times. In 2024 the Grand Duchy returned to the contest after a 30 year hiatus. In 2024 Tali represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest with her entry ‘Fighter’.
