RTVE, the Spanish national broadcaster, has unveiled the competing acts at the forthcoming Spanish national selection- Benidorm Fest 2025.
RTVE and Spain are gearing up in full steam for their 2025 national selection Benidorm Fest. A total of 16 acts will be battling for the golden ticket to Basel.
The Spanish natonal broadcaster unveiled the names of the lucky candidates today during a special press conference at the RTVE Headquarters in Madrid:

- Kuve- Loca por ti
- La Chispa- Hartita de llorar
- Lucas Bun- Te escribo en el cielo
- Mawot- Raggio di sole
- Mel Omana- I’m the queen
- Melody- Esa Diva
- Sonia & Selena- Reinas
The Benidorm Fest 2025 press conference was conducted by Ms. Maria Eizaguirre Comendador ( Head of Communication and Participation RTVE).
Sonia & Selena and Melody have vyed to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest before having taken part in the Spanish national finals before.
RTVE will be releasing the 16 competing entries on 18 December.
Benidorm Fest 2025
The 2025 Benidorm Fest will consist of three live televised shows (two semi-finals and a Grand Final). A total of 16 acts will compete in the 2025 Spanish national selection, 8 acts will battle in each of the two semi-finals, the top four acts from each semi-final will proceed to the Grand Final. Hence a total of 8 acts will battle for the golden to Eurovision 2025 in the Grand Final. Benidorm Fest 2025 will run from 28 January-01 February.
- The 2025 Benidorm Fest will be held on 28 January (First Semi-final), 30 January (Second Semi-final) and 01 February (Grand Final).
- All three shows will be broadcast live on TVE 1.
- Spain will determine its Eurovision 2024 act and entry on Saturday 01 February via the Grand Final of Benidorm Fest 2025.
Spain in Eurovision
Spain debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has won the event twice: 1968 and 1969. The country hosted the competition in 1969 in Madrid.
In 2024 Nebulossa won Benidorm Fest 2024 and went on to represent Spain at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo with their epic entry ‘Zorra’.
