On June 8, Dzintars Cica's song Tu esi vasara (You're My Summer) was selcted to represent Latvia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen. September 15, the representatives of Latvian Broadcaster, LTV, held a press conference where the video of the song was presented.

The creative team working on the entrance and the video participated in the press conference. Rasma Dumpe, the Director of the video, told that the shooting took three days in the Western part of Latvia in August. She is happy for Dzintars Cica who proved himself not only as a songwriter, but as a talented actor, too.
Aivars Auzins, the Executive Producer of Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Latvia, admitted that despite the low budget the video has good quality. The main idea of the video is to play with a child's fantasies about the summer-fun and the reality.
Zita Kaminska, the Head of the Delegation, revealed that the Spanish and Dutch Broadcasters have expressed the wish to show the video of Latvian entrant at their National Selections of Junior ESC.
Meanwhile, Gints Skribans is working with Dzintars and his two backing vocalists, and four dancers on the choreography, but Kristine Lemberga designs the costumes for the performance in Copenhagen.
