Eurovision 2020: NPO unveils the Design Team

Dutch national host broadcaster, NPO, has unveiled the 2020 Eurovision Design Team. The Netherlands are gearing up for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest with preparations in full swing. More and mored details regarding the upcoming Eurovision edition are cropping up.

The 2020 Eurovision Design Team is almost complete, the 2020 Eurovision Committee, has brought together four highly experienced professionals in order to take over the lighting, sound engineering and video work in Rotterdam:

  • Henk Jan van Beek (Light Design)
  • Thijs Peters (Audio Design)
  • Jeroen ten Brinke (Audio Design)
  • Hans Cromheecke (Video Design)

Mr. Erwin Rintjema ( ESC 2020 Technical Production Head) says:

Together with an extremely experienced crew, we are already working hard in order to prepare the sound engineering, lighting and video work to perfection as a team. 

We need years of experience for the biggest TV spectacle that the Netherlands has ever hosted and we will get it from Henk Jan, Thijs, Jeroen and Hans. 

With large live productions on their resumes, they have been among the international leading proffesionals in their field for many years.

They have worked on earlier editions of the Eurovision Song Contest, De Vrienden van Amstel Live, Televizierring, opening / closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games, Sing China, etc.

The four professionals will be joined by a fifth member in the near future, an internship designer.

The 2020 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 12, 14 and 16 May at the Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The 2020 ESC edition will be co-organized by Dutch public broadcasters NPO, AVROTROS and NOS.
