Rehearsals are now well and truly underway in the city of Tel Aviv, which will be hosting this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Today sees the third day of rehearsals, with the first half of the second semi-final evening taking to the impressive stage of Expo Tel Aviv.

Nine countries are all set to make their debut onstage, 10 days before their live performance at the second semi-final. Following their rehearsal, a Meet & Greet session will be coming next. These countries are ArmeniaIrelandMoldovaSwitzerlandLatviaRomaniaDenmarkSweden and Austria.

Now it’s time for Sarah McTernan from Ireland to get on the Eurovision stage and perform her entry “22”! Do you think she could achieve a record 8th victory for her country?

Sarah told press earlier this week that her performance will be 50’s diner inspired, so we knew what to expect here. Her dancers are in bubblegum pink cropped tops and cropped trousers, with red headbands tied in a retro-style knot. Sarah herself looks very glamourous in a red leatherette outfit – a pencil skirt and cropped bralette top.

Her stiletto shoes are also covered in comic book patterns. Whilst this is a very fashionable and coordinated look, and Sarah looks radiant, it doesn’t quite scream “fifties diner”, so looks slightly out of place.
