Rehearsals are now well and truly underway in the city of Tel Aviv, which will be hosting this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Today sees the first day of rehearsals, with the first half of the first semi-final evening taking to the impressive stage of Expo Tel Aviv.

Eight countries are all set to make their debut onstage, 9 days before the live show of the first semi-final. Following their rehearsal, a Meet & Greet session will be coming next. These countries are Belgium, GeorgiaAustralia, Iceland, Estonia, Portugal, Greece and San Marino.

Greece has interally selected Katerine Duska to represent them in this year’s contest. How successful could she be on the scoreboard?

Katerine wears a full-length white and silver dress. The skirt is cut into an A-line, and is see-through and lacy. Over this skirt, there is a shorter, apron-like white skirt with a silver frill. There are similar frills embellishing the bodice of the dress. The sleeves are wide, lacy and billowy, and the neckline is cut high with silver frills. Katerine wears some decorations along the parting in her hair, and her makeup is silver with a pink lip. All this matches beautifully with the floral theme of the stage show.

Two of her dancers are wearing white leotards, in order to aid them with the fencing part of their performance. The remaining three dancers are in ruffled yellow dresses, and long yellow gloves. The pastel colours in this performance are perfect for Spring!
