Rehearsals are now well and truly underway in the city of Tel Aviv, which will be hosting this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Today sees the first day of rehearsals, with the first half of the first semi-final evening taking to the impressive stage of Expo Tel Aviv.

Eight countries are all set to make their debut onstage, 9 days before the live show of the first semi-final. Following their rehearsal, a Meet & Greet session will be coming next. These countries are Belgium, GeorgiaAustralia, Iceland, Estonia, Portugal, Greece and San Marino.

The second day of rehearsals has come to an end with the Sanmarinese act, which is also drawn to close the first semi-final on 14 May. Following his 2016 participation on behalf of the same country, Serhat returns to the Eurovision stage. Will he get the green light to the final this time?

Serhat looks particularly suave all in white! He wears a smart white suit, but with a t-shirt instead of a shirt. He is joined by two male dancers, who wear white blazers, shirts, shorts and socks, and three female backing singers, who are in white jumpsuits with different but coordinating necklines.
