It’s said that there’s no smoke without fire and this is confirmed for yet another time: after months of intense speculation, the Israeli broadcaster KAN has now made it official: the international superstar (and so-called “Queen of Pop”) Madonna will appear as interval act at the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv!
This year’s Eurovision entrants will be honoured to take to the same stage with one of the most acclaimed artists all over the world! Together with the news’ announcement, KAN also confirmed that Madonna will be performing two songs onstage, one of her countless hits, as well as a new single that is expected to be released in due time.
This is going to be the superstar’s 4th performance in this year’s host country, followed by 3 gigs in 1993, 2009 and 2012. According to local media Haaretz, Madonna’s appearance will cost about $1 million, with the amount expected to be covered by the Israeli-Canadian billionaire Sylvan Adams, as previously rumoured.
