Eurovision 2019: Former Eurovision winners to perform on 16 May in Tel Aviv

Former Eurovision winners Anne-Marie David, Carola and Loreen will take to the stage on the evening of the second semi-final, starring in a “divalicious” concert which will be co-hosted by former Israeli representative Orna Datz.

The heat is slowly rising in Tel Aviv as Eurovision 2019 is getting closer. During the days of the contest, things will be even more exciting, filled with extra events for the fans. On the evening of the second semi-final on 16 May, a host of former victorious Eurovision diva’s will perform at a free concert on the boardwalk of Tel Aviv Port.

France’s Anne-Marie David (Eurovision 1973 winner for Luxembourg, 3rd place in 1979 for France) and Sweden’s Carola Häggkvist (Eurovision 1991 winner, 3rd place in 1983 and 5th place in 2006) and Loreen Talhaoui (Eurovision 2012 winner) will take to the stage in a spectacular show, hosted by Israeli “Mr Eurovision” Alon Amir and former Eurovision participant Orna Datz, who successfully represented Israel alongside her ex-husband Moshe Datz as Duo Datz with Kan (Eurovision 1991, 3rd place).

The diva’s will be accompanied on stage by a team of six dancers, Israeli drag artists and more, creating a fabulous show for all fans.

The free concert at the Tel Aviv Port starts at 8 p.m. (local time), just ahead of the second semi-final, which will be shown live on a giant screen. Following tne show, the party will continue into the night!
