KAN, the Israeli national broadcaster, has released a teaser of the 2019 Israeli Eurovision entry ‘Home’ in the lead up to the official premiere of the song which  is scheduled to take place on Sunday 10 March.

Kobi Marimi will represent Israel at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv with his entry Home.

Home is a power ballad which has been written and composed by Ohad Shragai and Inbar Weitzman. Kobi is set to premiere his song on Sunday 10 March at the Israeli Academy Awards which will be broadcast live at 21:00 CET on KAN 11 and KAN Digital.

Israel in Eurovision

Israel debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1973 and has won the competition four times (1978, 1979, 1998 and 2018). The nation has  already hosted the contest twice in Jerusalem (1979, 1999).  This year the country will welcome the Eurovision Song Contest for the third time, namely in Tel Aviv which will play host for the very first time in the history of the coveted competition.
