Ukraine is all set to choose their next Eurovision representative tomorrow, through their annual selection event Vidbir. However, tomorrow’s show has promised us many surprises as well. We just got to know one of them! Bilal Hassani, France’s entrant to Eurovision 2019 will be there to perform his song Roi!
The news was announced earlier by the Ukrainian national broadcaster UA:PBC, as well as the television channel STB which is also contributing to the show’s production.
Following the Czech entrants Lake Malawi, Bilal Hassani will be the second 2019 Eurovision act to appear on Vidbir‘s stage. Bilal Hassani won France’s national selection event Destination Eurovision 2019 with the song Roi, penned by Bilal himself, as well as the 2018 French entrants Madame Monsieur and Medeline. Bilal has already arrived in Kyiv, from where he is posting Instragram stories, while preparing for his tomorrow’s performance.

Besides France’s entrant, the 2016 Eurovision winner Jamala, who is now a jury member at the show, will also take the stage to sing her brand new single Solo, released on 1 February.
Don’t miss the show, tomorrow at 18:00 CET (19:00 local time)!
