Tonight it is time for Latvia to decide their representative for Eurovision 2019 during the final of Supernova 2019!

Things are getting exciting in Latvia, as the Baltic country will select its ESC 2019 representative this evening. The final of the country’s selection Supernova 2019 will feature eight contestants, the victor of which will win the ticket to Tel Aviv!

Broadcaster LTV is sure to present a riveting show for the public, hosted by Dagmar Legant and Ketija Schoenberg.

The voting process

The winner of Supernova 2019 will be chosen by a combined jury vote and public televoting. The jury panel consists of radio producer Artis Dvarionas, singers Ralfs Eilands (Eurovision 2013 as part of the group PeR) and Linda Leen, and DJ Rudd from Latvian Radio 5.

Latvia at Eurovision 2018

Latvian-Brazilian singer-songwriter Laura Rizzotto and her song Funny girl won Supernova 2018, representing Latvia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal. She unfortunately did not go through to the Grand Final, placing 12th with 106 points in semi-final 2.
