Tonight the United Kingdom will select its 62nd Eurovision entry using the same one-off national final system as the past 3 years – Eurovision: You Decide. The winner of tonight’s show will fly the Union Jack in Tel Aviv.

The BBC will host the event at the Dock10 studios in Salford, and tonight’s show will be presented by Eurovision 2015 winner (and host of Eurovision 2016) Måns Zelmerlöw, alongside television present Mel Giedroyc.

Tonight’s show will feature 3 duels, consisting of two different acts each performing the same song in their own style. As reported by the broadcaster, both a celebrity panel and the public will determine the outcome.

The duels

  1. Michael Rice vs Holly Tandy Bigger than us
  2. Jordan Clarke vs MAID Freaks
  3. Kerrie-Anne vs Anisa Sweet Lies

How to watch

Tonight’s show will be broadcast live on BBC Two from 20:30 CET (19:30 local time).

The UK at Eurovision 2018

Last year the UK were represented by Surie and her song Storms. She was unfortunately remembered for a stage invader during her performance, after which she very bravely continued, and finished in 24th place with 48 points.
