The new month’s dawn saw her first official release after her Eurovision victory! Starring a rhino and with a video clip that awakens memories from our beloved old video games, Netta presents us her new hit: it’s Bassa Sababa!
I’m not your toy, you stupid boy!… This is the conclusion that we can draw from Netta’s wild mood in the video clip. Pink colour and Netta’s eccentric style are the dominant parts of a virtual scenery, where the Eurovision winner transforms into a rhinoceros that hunts and tries to avenge her fiancé who leaves her at the time of marriage! Will she make it?
Watch Netta’s brand new song and clip, which premiered early in the morning: How do you find it?
Bassa Sababa was written and produced by Netta herself, as well as her victorious song Toy composer Stav Beger and Avshalom Ariel. The song has been released and distributed by Tedy Production Records, and BMG Rights Management.
Here is a highlight from the video’s filming in Kyiv, Ukraine, which has reportedly costed 1 million shekel, one of the highest amounts earmarked in the Israeli music industry.

Netta at Eurovision
In early 2018, the newcomer artist Netta took part and won the Israeli show The Next Star 2018, which served as the country’s artist selection event for last year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Her Eurovision song Toy was released at a later date, penned by Doron Medalie and Stav Beger.
Netta confirmed all predictions that presented her as the absolute favorite for the victory, as she ended up 1st in the Grand Final with 529 points, from both the juries and the public. Hence, the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest is going to take place in her home country, Israel, hosted in the city of Tel Aviv.
