Serbian broadcaster RTS has received 76 submissions for the country’s Eurovision selection Beovizija 2019.

Serbia joins the parade of countries that are getting ready for Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv. Broadcaster RTS (Radio Televizija Srbije) received 76 songs to potentially participate in the national selection Beovizija 2019, as the deadline for application ended on 15 November.

A jury of music industry professionals will have the task of reviewing all submissions and shortlisting them, the submissions themselves are coded to keep the authors and aspiring artists a secret until the final decision is made.

The shortlisted songs will subsequently be revealed to the public, presenting the composers, lyricists and interpreters of the Beovizija 2019 entries.

Further details regarding Serbia’s selection Beovizija 2019 are expected to be released in due course.
