Israeli national broadcaster KAN and Tel Aviv are proud and honoured to host the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, and are all set to welcome everyone to the grand Eurovision party next May!
Tel Aviv will be hosting the Eurovision Song Contest for the very first time in Eurovision history and is gearing up to showcase an extraordinary show come May.
Both the Israeli national broadcaster KAN/IPBC and the City of Tel Aviv will be working from strength to strength to welcome the Eurovision bandwagon along with the thousands of Eurovision fans, journalists, delegations and artists expected to land in the city next spring.
The 2019 Eurovision host city is internationally acclaimed for its vibrant nightlife, restaurants and entertainment hubs. Often referred to as the city that never sleeps, Tel Aviv is the hot spot for youngsters and famous for its energetic vibe.
The Mayor of Tel Aviv Mr. Ron Huldai is honoured to host the contest and commented after the announcement:
Our city is happy to host the Eurovision 2019 event in Tel Aviv-Jaffa .Eurovision is a world-wide entertainment event that receives huge public attention and is even suitable for Tel Aviv-Jaffa, which has become famous as a city of creativity, energy and a vibrant cultural life.
We will do everything possible to make Eurovision happy, alive, kicking and non-stop – just like our city, and we are confident that together with KAN we will produce the Eurovision Song Contest in the best of ways.
The 2019 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to take place at the Tel Aviv Convention Centre on 14, 16 and 18 May.
Israel will be welcoming to the Eurovision Song Contest for the third time on home soil, having hosted the competition twice before in Jerusalem in 1979 and 1999.
