While the summer holidays around Europe are well and truly underway, the Swedish 2017 representative Robin Bengtsson motivates us to feel more the season’s spirit and fall in love! His brand new single I wanna fall in love again is here, ready to hit the charts in Sweden and not only!
Following the release of his latest single Liar two months ago, Robin Bengtsson is now making a quick comeback, presenting a pop ballad. With his lyrics, he tries to attract the attention of the girl he loves and make her give him another chance to become a couple. “So tired of being just friends, I wanna fall in love again…”, he says.
The song was released yesterday on Spotify by Capitol Music Group, while its YouTube release is expected in due time. Both music and lyrics are by Robin Bengtsson himself, as well as his producers Herman Gardarfve and Alexander Tidebrink.
His single’s release coincides with Robin’s summer vacations, which is currently enjoying with his family on the Greek island of Zakynthos. Over the last few days, he has been sharing several highlights from his journey to the Mediterrenean country with Instagram posts and stories.
Robin Bengtsson at Eurovision
Following a previous attempt in 2016, where he placed 5th with the song Constellation prize, Robin Bengtsson returned one year later and was crowned the winner of the Swedish national competition Melodifestivalen 2017. Thus, he won the chance to represent the Scandinavian country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, with the dance entry I can’t go on.
In Kyiv, Robin Bengtsson was the one who opened the contest’s curtains, performing first in the first semi-final evening, qualifying to the Grand Final. He finally achieved yet another successful Eurovision result for Sweden, as he ended up 5th with a total of 344 points.
