Lena to perform Taken by a stranger in Düsseldorf

Taken by a stranger will be the German entry in the Eurovision Song Contest. The song was chosen out of six performed by Lena Meyer-Landrut in the country's national final tonight.

The winning song was chosen in two rounds of voting. Push forward and Taken by a stranger advanced to the super final and the latter song eventually won the 79% of the votes. The song was written by Nicole Morier, who has previously worked for acts such as Tom Jones and Britney Spears, Gus Seyffert and Monica Birkenes. The song will also be the first single realeased of Lena's second album Good news, which debuted at number one on the German charts today.
