Spain: TVE shortlists 9 finalist songs

Melissa, Lucia Pérez and Auryn are the 3 finalists who will compete for the golden ticket to Düsseldorf. Next Friday the 18th of February the 2011 Spanish Eurovision national final will be held. 3 acts will sing a medley of 3 potential entries each, a total of 9 entries will be presented. An expert jury will deliberate which songs will qualify for the final round. The final decision will lie in the hands of the Spanish public.

Who will represent Spain in Düsseldorf?Will it be Melissa? Lucia Pérez? Or willthe boyband Auryn makeit toEurovision? We will get to know the answernextFriday. All three acts willperforma medley of 3 songs each.An expert jury will shortlist the 9 potential entries to3. Each of the acts will be left with one song each. The winningsong will be chosen by the Spanishaudience via televoting. There will be no joker entries in the final.

Anne Irgatiburu and DanileDiges will host the show from the St. CugatStudios in Barcelona.
