Austria: ZOË’s Heartbreaker is available worldwide

Austria’s Zoë Straub, or ZOË, has released her latest single Heartbreaker for download and streaming. Moreover, she’s working on the single’s music video.

ZOË, Austria’s Eurovision 2016 representative, previously presented the song Heartbreaker on her 2017 album The Acoustic Sessions. However, a newly produced electro-pop version has recently been released worldwide for digital download and streaming.

Heartbreaker moves away from ZOË’s trademark French repertoire, being a humorous and swinging electro-pop tune with in English. ZOË explains:

I have fun to blend different genres. I can’t stand still and I love to reinvent my music constantly.

Heartbreaker‘s marketing and production were financed with the help of crowdinvesting via Global Rockstar, with fans becoming shareholders.

Music video on the way

The cheerful artist is also working on a music video for Heartbreaker which will be unveiled shortly, consisting of selfie-material. ZOË teased her fans with a sneak-peek:

At Eurovision

Zoë Straub (Vienna, Austria, 1996), professionally known as ZOË, is an Austrian singer-songwriter and actress. Born to musical parents Christof Straub and Roumina Straub of the popular Austrian group Papermoon, ZOË appeared in various musical projects and television shows from a young age.

The singer first attempted to represent Austria at Eurovision 2015, placing 3rd in the Austrian national selection with the song Quel filou.

ZOË returned to the national selection in 2016, eventually winning the competition and thus representing Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden. With her enchanting French song Loin d’ici (“Far from here”) she progressed to the Grand Final, ultimately decently placing 13th with 151 points.
