The three songwriters that will take part in this year's Croatian national selection were revealed moments ago by HRT. Ante Pecotic, Lea Dekleva and Boris Durdevic will write the songs for the two lucky finalists of the brand new edition of Dora 2011.
Croatia is one of the countries that choosed to modify their national final format in order to adapt to the latest Eurovision tendencies. This year, HRT decided to change Dora into a reality show closely following the pattern of last year's German national selection which was succesful as Lena evetually won the Eurovision Song Contest that year.
Two lucky artists will be fighting against each other on the big final of Dora 2011 to be held on March 5th in Zagreb. They will perform the songs written by popular composers Ante Pecotic, Lea Dekleva and Boris Durdevic. The winner will be chosen by a combination of televoting and jury's choice and will receive the honour of representing Croatia at Europe's favourite music show.
Last year, Croatia was represented by Feminnem and their song Lako je sve. Although they were one of the pre-contest favourites, they nevertheless failed to qualify from the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010.
