Former Russian Eurovision contestant Anastasia Prikhodko has just finished the recordings for her latest music video Action. This year, she is one of the eighteen acts that will fight for the honour of representing Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Anastasia Prikhodko is one of the four hot favourites in this year's Ukrainian national selection. Unlike her previous Eurovision effort, Action is an up-tempo techno song with minimalistic influences that is contrasting with the rest of the participatingUkrainian hopefuls.
In order to increase her chances for victory, Anastasia decided to shoot a music video for her current Eurovision entry. The video clip was directed by Yubik Lytvyn who is a very popular photographer and video director in Ukraine. The shootings were completed on February 2nd and the final result is goingto be released at the end of the month, when the Ukrainian national final is due to be held.
Anastasia Prikhodko represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with Mamo, a song written by Konstantin Meladze, one of the mostacclaimed composers in the CIS countries. Herperformance was rewarded with 91 points finishing on the 11th position of the big final in Moscow.
