The first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 has just concluded, with ten acts making it through to the Grand Final. It is now time for the qualifiers to learn in which half of the Final they will perform on Saturday night.
Immediately after tonight’s live show, the winners’ press conference was held. Here, the finalists reacted to their qualification and answered press questions. They each drew lots to determine which half of the final they will perform in.
First part of final allocation draw
The 10 qualifiers have randomly chosen which half of the Grand Final they will perform in on Saturday 12th May. Here are the results:
- Austria will compete in the first half of the final
- Estonia will compete in the first half of the final
- Cyprus will compete in the second half of the final
- Lithuania will compete in the first half of the final
- Israel will compete in the second half of the final
- Czech Republic will compete in the second half of the final
- Bulgaria will compete in the second half of the final
- Albania will compete in the first half of the final
- Finland will compete in the second half of the final
- Ireland will compete in the second half of the final

First half

The remaining 10 qualifiers will be chosen from the second semi-final on Thursday evening. Once all 26 finalists are known, the organisers of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest will determine the final running order, in order to give the best show.
Eurovision 2018 continues with the second semi-final on Thursday 10 May, with the final taking place on the 12 May this Saturday.
