It’s the Sunday before the official Eurovision week, and you know what that means? It’s time to meet all of the artists from the 43 participating countries on the Blue Carpet as well as at the Opening Ceremony to follow.

The first and second rehearsals have pretty much come to an end; now it’s time to meet with the artists on the Blue Carpet ahead of next week’s live Eurovision 2018 shows. The live shows are pretty much knocking on our doorsteps!

Today’s events

Today sees all teams of the 43 participating countries taking to the Blue Carpet, where all delegations will be met by the 4 hosts of the event, followed by interviews with the press and meetings with the fans.

The Blue Carpet event will be hosted by Cláudia Semedo, Inês Lopes Gonçalves, Pedro Granger and Pedro Penim, with the carpet to be located at the MAAT Museum Lisboa.

Following today’s initial carpet event, the 43 participating countries will press forward to the Opening Ceremony event, truly welcoming the delegations to the official 2018 Eurovision Song Contest host city of Lisbon.
