Serbian national broadcaster has announced that Kornelije Kovac has been chosen along with his daughters Aleksandra and Kristina to compose the 2011 Eurovision Serbian Eurovision entry. The Serbian national final is scheduled to be held on the 26th of February, and will be aired live on RTS1. The 3 composers, father Kornelije and his 2 daughters Aleksandra and Kristina will each present a song and a singer, thus competing against each other.
Kornelije Kovac is no new face in the Eurovision Song Contest as he performed at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest representing Yugoslaviaas part ofthe bandKorni Grupom with the song Moja genericija, which came 12th in Brighton. Serbian broadcaster RTS has announced that the Serbian national final is scheduled to be held on the 26th of February, when the three Kovac composers will compete in their quest to represent Serbia at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf.
Serbia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 as a solecountrywith Marija Serifovic who brought the contest to Belgrade in 2008 with her victory.
