Time to leave the European north for a while and move on to the Balkans! Continuing the 4th day of rehearsals is Montenegro, which is set to perform 16th at the second semi-final on 10 May.

The participating countries’ first rehearsals are still underway in Lisbon, with a former Yugoslavian country taking the stage. Following the national final Montevizija 2018 held in February, its winner Vanja Radovanović has flown to the Portuguese capital, aiming at the best possible result for his country, with his ballad Inje.

Maybe unexpectedly, Vanja is wearing a glossy turquoise suit, whilst his 4 female dancers, who are also backing vocalists are wearing white dresses with feathers. In addition, Montenegro’s appearance features a piano player in the background, making the song even more emotional.

The vocal result of the Montenegrin team seems quite steady. A calm performance from the country, after a series of more powerful and eccentric participations.

As we’re staying in the Balkans, Slovenia is next on the line for rehearsal. The country’s 2018 representative is Lea Sirk, singing Hvala, ne!
