Day 4 of rehearsals is here! Today, the remaining semi-final 2 participants will take to the Eurovision 2018 stage in the host city of Lisbon, ready for their first set of official stage rehearsals for the competition. Second onstage today is the Polish trio, performing for their first rehearsal in Lisbon.
It’s the fourth day of Eurovision 2018 rehearsals at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, where the first rehearsal for the semi-finalists will conclude with the remaining semi-final 2 participants. A further 9 acts will take to the stage today; let’s see how their rehearsals go!
Gromee and Lukas Meijer of Poland are second to take to the stage this morning with their entry Light me up, with the duo set to compete in the second semi-final of the contest next Thursday.
Poland brings the JOWST vibes to the 2018 stage, with similarities to Norway’s 2017 staging present in today’s Polish rehearsal including a DJ deck and purple lighting.
First look at Poland’s first rehearsal for Eurovision 2018
Throughout each of today’s run throughs, Poland upped the energy onstage which is sure to appeal to the audience in the arena on the night. Three backing vocalists and a guitarist join the duo on the Eurovision stage for their performance.
Pyros play a big part in the Polish performance, with pyro fountains filling the stage at points within the rehearsal. All in all, a nice performance with good vocals.
