Eurovision 2011: Tickets for semifinals on sale January 18 and 19

Tickets for the first and the second semifinal of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest are announced to go on sale on January 18th (first semifinal) and 19th (second semifinal). However, fans wishing to secure their tickets can do so by pre-ordering them.

The regular ticket sales for the first semifinal will start on January 18th at 12:00 CET. One day later, on January 19th at 12:00 CET, tickets for the second semifinal will be available. Tickets for each of the shows are exclusively sold on dticket.de, the only ticket reseller authorised by the European Broadcasting Union.

Tickets for the semifinals can be pre-ordered, which will entitle fans to purchase ticketsup to 18 hours before the official sale starts. A maximum of four tickets can be pre-ordered, and after the draw has been held to determine which countries will be represented in which semifinal, on January 17th at 18:00 CET, fans can decide themselves for which of the two semifinals their tickets will be issued. Also, the EBU has announced that more tickets for the Jury Final will be available as soon as the exact technical positions have been determined.

The first semifinal of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest will take place on May 10th at 21:00 CET in the Düsseldorf Arena, while the second semifinal will be held on May 12th in the same venue. In each semifinal, 19 countries will be represented.
