Lithuania’s Ieva Zasimauskaitė and her team are also preparing to depart for Lisbon, and the singer surprised her family and friends with a culinary farewell party.

Ieva Zasimauskaitė invited her loved ones to the culinary event studio Čiop Čiop in Vilnius. Being close to her family and friends means a lot to the young artist, giving her strength for the big event.

The singer is committed to deliver a solid presentation in Lisbon:

Every day I meditate, the voice feels relaxed and I feel that this path will bring real happiness. I believe in God. A man taught me that it is necessary to focus on the positive side of life, while a friend told me to, at the end of each day, spread five fingers and bend them to say one good thing that happened on this day.

The event at Čiop Čiop boosted Ieva Zasimauskaitė’s confidence, confirming the message of her entry When we’re old, an ode to simply sharing ones life with loved ones. Connecting with people and creating genuine relationships is important to the singer:

I can learn from each person I meet and they bring so much warmth that it’s no longer possible to be a bad person. Relationships, even at work, are the most important thing. If there is no relationship, any work will become irrelevant.

Special gift

Among the guests were Lithuania’s Head of Delegation Audrius Giržadas, who praised Ieva Zasimauskaitė’s artistry, and lyricist Vytautas Bikus, who wrote When we’re old. Ieva Zasimauskaitė shared a special gift with Vytautas Bikus: a coin, a good luck charm received from the beloved former Lithuanian president Valdas Adamkus.
