This year’s Slovenian representative, Lea Sirk, has released the official video to her Eurovision entry, Hvala, ne!

The video is set in a nightclub, and features Lea alongside dancers and the actors Ylenia Mahnič and Tine Ugrin.

Lea has said a special thanks to the SAZAS Association for their financial support to the project, as well as a special thanks to all the dancers who took part in the video.

Lea will perform Hvala, ne! in the 17th slot in the second semi-final on Thursday 10th May 2018.


Eleanor (or Ellie), is 26 years old, is from Exeter in the UK. She combines motherhood with studying linguistics. Ellie was first allowed to stay up and watch the Eurovision Song Contest aged 5 in 1999, but really fell in love with it after the Athens 2006 contest. Big key changes and dramatic stage shows are an absolute must! Ellie has also written an A* academic dissertation on the cultural history of Eurovision.
