The Eurovision fever hits Bucharest, proud capital of Romania and host city of Selectia Nacionala, the national selection event of the Carpathian country for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. All the thirteen participating hopefuls are doing their best in order to promote their entries in the Romanian mass-media as in fifteen days we will get to know the name of Paula Seling & Ovi's lucky successor at Europe's favourite music show.
The excitement is growing in Bucharest as in less than fifteen days the Romanians will have their say and will select their entrant in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest to be held on 10, 12and 14 may 2011 in Düsseldorf. All thirteen participants have kicked-off their own tour of the Romanian mass-media in order to promote their entries for SelecÅ£ia NaÅ£ionalÄ� 2011.
As esctoday.com has previously reported, former Eurovision winners Johnny Logan and Niamh Kavanagh as well as Chiara Siracusa will perform during the interval act of the event. Paula Seling and Ovi will also make an appearance on the very first minutes of 2011.
For the second time in the history of Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest, the local fans will organize a special party. This event will take place on December 29 at the Frech Kiss Club in Bucharest and will start at 22:00 (local time). Natalia Barbu will join the Romanian thirteen participants on the line-up of the Eurovision party.
