Russian superstar Sergey Lazarev returns to the spotlight with his latest English-language album The One ánd a spectacular new tour.

Sergey Lazarev from Russia is certainly a prolific artist, having released various successful albums and singles in the past years. The singer adds another album to his musical repertoire with the release of The One. The songs on The One were written in co-operation with a host of international songwriters, including Dimitris Kontopoulos and Philipp Kirkorov – who are no strangers to Eurovision enthusiasts. With The One Sergey Lazarev returns to the English language, aiming at his international fan-base.

N-Tour

The Russian artist is also set to embark on a tour, promoting his latest album and performing his greatest hits. The grand N-Tour will visit various cities, starting in Minsk (Belarus) on 10 April 2018. Sergey Lazarev looks forward to performing for his fans:

About Sergey Lazarev

Sergey Vyacheslavovich Lazarev (Moscow, Russia, 1983) is a Russian actor, dancer, musical performer and pop-singer. One of the most popular artists in Russia and throughout Eastern Europe, he has won numerous awards.

Little Sergey started with artistic gymnastics at age 6, and began dancing and singing from age 10. He joined the children’s choir Lokteus and later became a member of the popular child group Neposedi, which also featured Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina of t.A. T.u.

Sergey Lazarev already won various music festivals and prizes throughout his childhood and teen-age years, including the contest Bravo Bravissimo in Italy.

He later was part of the popular duo Smash!!, alongside Vlad Topalov. They had considerable success throughout Russia, Eastern Europe and in Southeast Asia, winning the New Wave Festival in Jūrmala , Latvia, in 2002. The duo disbanded in 2006, Sergey Lazarev pursuing a successful solo-career.

At Eurovision

Sergey Lazarev represented Russia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Being a hot favourite to win the contest, he ultimately reached an honourable 3rd place in the Grand Final with his entry You are the only one, receiving 491 points.

The artist actually won Semi-Final 1 with 342 points and won the public televote in the Grand Final. To boot, he was awarded the Marcel Bezençon Press Award.
