Meike Garden from the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest was one of the special guests in the EC Germany club convention. The German representative shared thoughts with esctoday.com prior going on stage in Cologne.

Meike who performed with her own mother in the Eurovision Song Contest held in Dublin spoke about her experience in Europe’s favourite show. The German singer gave an account of how the link with Mr. Eurovision Ralph Siegel started. Infact the German composer penned her Eurovision entry.

Garden described the winning entry sung by Celine Dion in the contest she competed in as tremendous with great spirit. Since 1988 the German singer performed in many musicals and also had gigs with a number of bands. Meike Garden managed to start creating her own music and is still doing it nowadays.
