This year’s German representative, Michael Schulte, has revealed exciting news – he is set to become a father at the end of August!

He announced the news in a Facebook post:

Finally I can tell you why the song for my father has another very different meaning for me: I will soon become a father myself! Katharina and I will be parents! At the end of August! 🙂 this year has been so exciting and wonderful so far! 🙌🏻

The German singer’s Eurovision entry is an emotional song for his father, and now it has a whole other meaning for him.

Here at esctoday.com, we would like to congratulate Michael & Katharina on the wonderful news that they are expecting their first child!
