Ô Melodie Pentru Europa 2018, the national selection for Moldova has taken place in Chisinau and we now know who the representative for Moldova at Eurovision 2018 will be.

The results

The winner of the show was DoReDos, who won both the jury and televote in the Moldovan final, receiving the highest total of 24 points in tonight’s show.

The group beat out 16 other acts to win the competition, therefore earning the right to fly the Moldovan flag in the Eurovision host city of Lisbon.

The trio will compete at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with the entry My lucky day, written by John Ballard together with famous songwriter and former Russian representative, Philipp Kirkorov. Check out the studio version of their entry below!

DoReDos will follow in the footsteps of Sunstroke Project, who had Moldova’s best ever Eurovision result with Hey mamma! when they finished third in Kyiv last year.

DoReDos and Moldova will perform in the first half of semi-final 2 in Lisbon on 10 May.
