TVE, the Spanish national broadcaster has announced today that the 2018 Spanish Eurovision hopefuls will be going on a promo tour across the continent.

Amaia and Alfred, the 2018 Spanish Eurovision representatives will be going places in the coming months. The Spanish duo will be heading to Amsterdam, London, Madrid and Tel Aviv in April where they will be attending the pre-Eurovision parties in these cities. The young singers will be performing their Eurovision entry at the parties and will be able to meet and migle with their fellow European counterparts (Eurovision 2018 participants).

Amaia and Aflred are currently on a tight schedule attending various television shows and events in Spain. The duo has just finished recording the final version of their Eurovision entry. Last weekend saw the filming of their official Eurovision videoclip in Madrid.

The lovebirds have caused quite a stir in Spain and have become a true phenomenon amongst the younger population in the country, thus attracting thousands of fans.The official videoclip of Tu canción will be released next month.

Spain in Eurovision

Spain debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has won the competition twice in 1968 and 1969. The country successfully hosted the epic 1969 Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid, where four nations walked away with the coveted Eurovision trophy.

Spain will compete in the Grand Final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest on 12 May in Lisbon.
