We have our 10 finalists for Sunday’s final of Depi Evratesil 2018 as semi-final 2 qualifiers have now been revealed.

Tonight’s qualifiers

Once again, another set of 10 acts took to the Depi Evratesil stage tonight, hoping to qualify for the final show on Sunday which will determine the nation’s representative for Lisbon.

Here are tonight’s qualifiers:

• Kamil Show – Puerto Rico
• Amaliya Margaryan – Waiting for the sun
• Sevak Khanaghyan – Qami
• Mariam – Fade
• Asmik Shiroyan – You & I

Sadly once again 5 others are bidding goodbye to the competition:

• Maria’s Secret – Escape
• Arman Mesropyan – What you hide
• Suren Poghosyan – The voice
• AlternatiV Band – Stare at me
• Tyom – Follow the ocean

During tonight’s show we watched a medley of all Armenian entrants at the competition since their debut back in 2006, shown after the opening of the voting lines; it was a little nostalgic moment but it also rose a question, who will be the next one?

As an interval act following the closure of the lines performed Syuzanna Milqanyan who participated in Depi Evratesil 2017 last year and additionally won the New Wave contest in Sochi in 2017. Syuzanna performed a medley of winning Eurovision songs such as 1944 (Ukraine 2016), Rise like a phoenix (Austria 2014) and Euphoria (Sweden 2012).

The show also dedicated a segment to the 2017 Eurovision winner Salvador Sobral and notably informed the public of the participation of Armenia in the second half of the first semi-final in Lisbon next May following the semi-final allocation draw that was held on the 29th of January.
