Another show in Romania has just thrown its curtains! The fifth and very last semi-final took place in the city of Sighișoara, one week before the event’s return in the country’s capital, Bucharest, where the final winner will be crowned.
Tonight’s fifth semi-final saw the last competing acts perform, with a total of only 3 advancing to next week’s Grand Final. The 3 songs moving forward to Bucharest’s Sala Polivalentă on 25 February are:

All 3 qualifying entries were determined by a 5-member jury panel, which consisted of Marian Ionescu, Ilinca Băcilă, Nicu Patoi, Liliana Ştefan and Viorel Gavrilă. After all, the line-up for the Grand Final of Selecția Națională 2018 is as follows:

The final’s running order will be revealed in due course by the Romanian national broadcaster TVR.
The eventual winner will get the honour to represent the Balkan nation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. So, let’s wait to see who’s going to be the one.
Romania will perform in the 1st half of the second semi-final, on 10 May. The Eurovision Song Contest 2018 is going to take place on 8, 10 and 12 May at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.
