Ukraine is ready for the second semi-final of Vidbir 2018, its national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. With three acts qualified from semi-final 1, only 3 spots in the final remain.

The second semi-final of Vidbir 2018, the Ukrainian national selection, is live from Kyiv tonight. The winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 is looking for its representative for Lisbon this upcoming May.

The show

This evening, the second half of the 18 participants will be competing onstage, fighting to advance to the final of the selection at the end of the month.

As with the first semi-final, 9 participants will compete for the 3 remaining spots in the final of Vidbir 2018.

The 3 qualifiers will be determined via a combined 50:50 public and jury vote, the same process which has been used in the recent years of the country’s national selection.
