The decision is made, Belarus has selected its Eurovision act for Eurovision 2018! Alekseev will represent Belarus at the forthcoming 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon next May.
Alekseev was crowned the winner of the 2018 Belarusian national final and will defend the Belarusian colours at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with Forever.

National final peformance
A total of 10 acts battled for the golden ticket to Lisbon during tonight’s show. The Belarusian national final was held in Minsk and was hosted by Theo and Olga Ryzhikov.
The 2018 Belarusian Eurovison act and entry was determined via a mixed 50/50 public televoting-professional jury deliberation.
Belarus in Eurovision
Belarus debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 and is yet to win the competition.
The country achieved its best placing in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 when Koldun placed 6th in Helsinki with Work your magic. The country has only qualified 5 times in its 14 year history in Eurovision.
Belarus will compete in the First Semi-final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest on 8 May in Lisbon.
