The esctoday.com team would like to offer our warmest congratulations to Germany on winning the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, Norway. Germany have won the competition for the second time after taking the crown in Harrogate, United Kingdom in 1982.

Germany have taken a second Eurovision Song Contest victory, some 28 years after Nicole won the competition with Ein Bisschen Frieden. Lena won the competition with 246 points, 76 points ahead of second place Turkey.
esctoday.com would also like to offer our congratulations to our very own Chief Editor, Mr. Marcus Klier, who single handedly manages our coverage of the national finals across Europe every year, and produces our analysis articles. The site is hosted in the United Kingdom, worked on across Europe, but there is no question that the heartbeat is in Germany.

Without Marcus, esctoday.com would not function properly in the busy season. He is one of the most experienced Eurovision Song Contest journalists and of course a German resident. Due to studies, Marcus has never attended the Eurovision Song COntest to work with our team. Happy to take a quiet role, today, the entire esctoday.com team wish our great friend and family member, Mr. Marcus Klier, a huge hug and congratulations.

Marcus, on behalf of the readers, fans and team, god bless you, enjoy this moment and we look forward to you being with us in your own country next year.
