Tonight: First semi-final of A Dal 2018 in Hungary

The first of two semi-finals of the Hungarian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, A Dal 2018, will take place tonight.

The hosts of A Dal 2018 are the 2016 Hungarian Eurovision entrant Freddie, alongside the journalist Krisztina Rátonyi.

Tonight’s show

The nine acts, all qualifiers from the heats earlier this year, will all perform their songs tonight, and four will make it through to the Grand Final in two weeks’ time.

In the first round of voting, the first three qualifiers will be determined by a combination of the jury scores and an average score based on the televotes. In the second round, the remaining six entries face a public vote to determine the additional fourth qualifier.
