ETV announced that we won't see an orchestra during the 47th Eurovision Song Contest. Performers will instead be asked to supply backing tapes for each song, just as the past three years.

Most broadcasters can understand ETV's statement. An orchestra would be expensive and it costs many time to synchronise the orchestra during the rehearsels.

Fans were disappointed, though tit has been generally accepted.
