Eurovision 2018: OSRAM official lighting partner in Lisbon

The EBU have announced today that OSRAM will be once again the official lighting partner at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon.

It will be for the fourth consecutive year that OSRAM will the official Eurovision Song Contest lightning partner. As the Official Lighting Partner of the Eurovision Song Contest, OSRAM has been granted extensive global association, event, media and digital rights for the upcoming events in Portugal.

OSRAM is set to run their successful voting activity, using lighting and will illuminate Lisbon’s iconic hot spots, landmarks and the Eurovision Village during the Eurovision period.

OSRAM illuminated some of the iconic landmarks in Kyiv during the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

Mr. Jon Ola Sand (EBU’s Eurovision Executive Supervisor) says:
Over the years OSRAM has continued to bring exciting innovations to the Eurovision Song Contest and I am delighted that one of our longest-serving partners are once again on board for the competition in Lisbon this year, as well as in 2019.
Mr. Hans-Joachim Schwabe (OSRAM’s CEO) at  says:
The Eurovision Song Contest is one of the world’s largest TV events with a long and exciting history. We are very proud to be onboard for the fourth time in a row and that the light and colours of our Claypaky products will create atmosphere, provide emotions and support the musician in the Altice Arena in Lisbon.
The 2018 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held in Lisbon on 8, 10 and 12 May.
