Yesterday, May 4, Brita Borg died at the age of 83. She represented Sweden in Cannes in the Eurovision Song Contest, back in 1959. She placed 9th with her song Augustin.

"The Queen of revue is dead", daily Aftonbladet writes this morning. Brita was born in 1926 in Stockholm and began her career at an early stage, in 1943. She played in a big number of musicals and operettas, as well as for theatre and TV comedy.
