The third elimination round of Unser Star für Oslo, the German performer selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was held tonight. Six acts competed and the bottom act in the televoting were eliminated from the competition.

At the end of the televoting it was decided that Leon Taylor is elminated from the competition.He performed Tears in heaven by Eric Clapton.

The following five acts have qualified for the quarter final this Friday:

• Kerstin Freking
• Lena Mayer-Landrut
• Sharyhan Osman
• Christian Durstewitz
• Jennifer Braun

The esctoday.com poll voters partly agreed with results in the show. Leon Taylor was not among the top favourites but finished equal fourth with 13.6% of the votes.

In 2009, Germany was represented by Alex Swings, Oscar Sings! with the song Miss kiss kiss bang. The duo finished 20th in the final with 35 points. As a big four country, Germany is directly qualified for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 on 29th May.
