The songs can be sent by post or submitted directly to the TVR Registry on CD, marked correctly on the envelope, or can be sent electronically [email protected].
The artists will then perform the songs in the TVR studios and the jury will choose the semi-finalists from 21-22 December, with a final decision expected to be made on the latter day.
For the first time in the history of Romania’s participation in Eurovision, the Romanian national selection will have five semi-finals, with the names of the finalists announced in early February.
The semi-finals and the Grand Final will take place during the months of January and February 2018, organised in six cities in Romania. In recent years, the national selection was organised in Brașov, Craiova, Baia Mare and Bucharest.
Romania finished in seventh place with 282 points in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with Ilinca and Alex Florea singing Yodel it!
