Counting from the first Maltese semi final on 9th December, the tenth week of the national final season for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 has passed. Six more shows were held including two national finals.
Germany
The German talent search Unser Star für Oslo continued on Tuesday with the second semi final being held. Another ten acts competed and five of them were chosen to proceed to the first elimination round: Jennifer Braun, Sharyan Osman, Leon Taylor, Christian Durstewitz and Maria-Lisa Straßburg.
Sweden
The second semi final of Melodifestivalen was held on Saturday. Eight more acts competed and it was decided that Eric Saade will compete in the national final with Manboy as will Andreas Johnson with We can work it out. Pauline and Kalle Moraeus & Orsa Spelmän will be given another chance in the second chance round.
Lithuania
The first semi final of the Lithuanian national selection for Oslo was held on Saturday. Eleven acts competed and three of them were chosen by a jury and televoting to proceed to the national final: Aiste Pilvelyte with Melancoli, Sasha Song & Nora with Say 'yes' to life and Monika Linkyte with Give away.
Armenia
The Armenian national final was held on Sunday with nine acts competing. The winner was chosen by a jury and SMS voting and t was decided that Eva Rivas will wave the Armenian flag in Oslo. Her song is called Apricot stone and it was written by Eurovision Song Contest veterans Armen Mitrosyan and Karen Kavaleryan.
Poland
The second national final to be held on Sunday was the Polish one. Ten acts competed and televoting alone decided that Marcin Mrozi�ski will go to Oslo with the song Legenda. His entry was written by himself and Marcin Nierubiec.
Slovakia
After six quarter final, the first semi final was held in Slovakia in Sunday. Twelve acts competed and six lucky ones were chosen by a jury and SMS voting to proceed to the final: Kristina with Horehronie, Miro Jaroš with Bez siedmeho neba, Pavol Remenár, Klára & Liquid Error with Figaro, Mayo with Tón, Robo Opatovský with NieÄ�o máš and Marián Bango with Ty tu ticho spíš.

The 2010 esctoday.com National Final Awards will be held between April and May, which means between the national final season and the Eurovision Song Contest. We will repeat the same format with two rounds for nominations which was used this year – you can read how it works here. However, this time the individual polls for each country will always be held right after the national final, when the entries are still fresh. You can still vote for your favourites in the national finals that have already been held:
